From Testimony to Digital Reconstruction: Editing Public Narratives of the Armenian–Tatar Clashes in Mshak, 1905–1907
The Tiflis newspaper Mshak was the main Armenian forum in which the violence of 1905 to 1907 between Armenians and Caucasian Tatars was reported, argued over and given meaning. The project collects and annotates these reports, letters and editorials and prepares them for a digital edition that lets readers follow how the clashes were narrated while they were still unfolding.
